Mardi Himal Trekking


Mardi Himal trekking is newly opened trekking trails in Nepal. Its belongs Annapurna trekking region from the trekking you will see massive views of  Annapurna Dhaulagiri and Manaslu  Himalayan region include beautiful lake city pokhara with amazing view of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna south and Huunchuli.

Fantastic Mardi Himal trek is located just east of one of the most famous trekking destination of Nepal called Annapurna Base camp trek. The trail is an hidden gem few hikers make their way to mardi himal base camp and lap of virgin mountain Machapuchre literally called fish tail. The trek goes along thin winding path through beautiful rhododendron forests until elevation around 3300m.

People rate it as easy also because it is one of the shorter treks and the path does not take you to difficult places. But beginner trekkers do rate it as a medium difficult trek because of the exhausting long walks and more uphill climb. Every day you walk around 6 to 7 hours on the foothills of mardi himal


Autumn is the best time of the year. The season is falling in September to November it is the best time to enjoy in mardi himal as it is the post monsoon period for you and offers clean and blue sky due to summer rainfall in Annapurna region. Mardi forest welcomes you with a bunch of rhododendron, oak and pine trees during the trek.

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu


Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (910m); Duration: 6-7 hours


Day 03: Drive to Phedi and Trek to Pothana (1,925m); Duration: 4 hours


Day 04: Trek to Forest Camp at Kokar (2,600m); Duration: 4 hours


Day 05: Trek to High Camp (3,600m); Duration: 6-7 hours


Day 06: Day Walk to Upper View Point (4,200m); Duration: 4 hours


Day 07: Trek to Siding Village, Duration: 4 hours and Drive to Pokhara (910m) Driving
