Fact about Annapurna:

Annapurna (8091 meters high; 26545 feet) is situate on the  North-central Nepal. Annapurna, the 10th arch mountain in the universe,Annapurna first successful climbed in 1950 by the French expedition Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal on June 3rd, 1950.

Geography of Annapurna:

Annapurna manifest east of an abounding gorge revoke through the Himalayas aside Kali Gandaki River, which separates it from the Dhaulagiri. (Dhaulagiri I lies 34 km west of Annapurna I). It is a chain of peaks in the Himalayas, a 55 km (34 miles)-long of which Annapurna I is the highest point. The mountain has glaciers on its western and northwestern slopes which abate into this gorge.

Meaning of Annapurna:

Annapurna is a Sanskrit made up one mind “Full of grain” "Goddess of the Harvests" or "the Provider". Annapurna is an alternative form of goddess Durga.
